Trivia
- The drop of mucus coming from the nose of its pre-evolution has become frozen and is now Beartic's beard.
- Beartic is the fourth Pokémon to have the appearance of a bear in the series, along with Teddiursa, Ursaring, and Beartic's pre-evolution, Cubchoo.
- Beartic is a portmanteau of the words "bear" and "arctic", as it is based off of a polar bear.
- Beartic is realistically sized; in reality, 8 feet is roughly the size of a polar bear standing on its hind legs.
