+ | [[Ash]] and co. continue their journey to Icirrus City, but to get there they have to cross over one humongous obstacle: Twist Mountain. There they meet a Pokemon Archaeologist named Ferris and his friend from childhood Sierria. Apparently Ferris has dug up a Cover Fossil, which is that of the Prototurtle Pokémon Tirtouga. But is Ferris the only party interested in the fossil? No, but not for long until Team Rocket came here to steal the Cover Fossil so that Dr. Zager could restore it the same thing as Prof. Juniper and Dr. Fennel restore the Plume Fossil of Archen when they hack their data. With a little help from the stones they stole at Chargestone Cave to power up the fossil restoration machine. Also the only thing they were after when Tirtouga's restored to the modern world is the "Time Gate" which leads to the past of prehistoric pokemon located at the bottom of the mine shaft of Twist Mountain and they need Tirtouga's life energy to keep the portal open. |
