After a long time coming Ash and co. finally arrive at Driftveil City. Ash heads to the Gym and meets Clay, the Driftveil Gym Leader. Unfortunately Clay is too busy to have a Gym Battle and runs off. In the meantime a local named Charles agrees to give Ash and friends a tour of Driftveil. But when the Theif and his Ducklett stole the fruit from the market, there's evil afoot, the mighty A☆celgor (and Accelguard in the dub) appears on the scene. They tried their best to stop the crook but misses, and his motorcycle, out of gas. Just as the Theif's getting away in his car, Timburr appears and smashed the car engines hard with its wooden beam to push. the Timburr belongs to Charles's childhood friend Linda. After that theif and Ducklett were sent to jail they saw a symbol of the Vanillite on that truck. Charles and Linda wonder who's doing this. And who is this mysterious hero? That night, Charles reveals himself that he's the mighty Accelguard except for Ash getting confused for a little kid as they try to stop the frozen theiving no good Team Vanillite they discover at the Driftveil Cold Storage District who they stole every frozen goods around Unova by their hencthmen's leader Dr. Ferrary a.k.a. Cryogonalman he calls for himself. After they defeat Team Vanillite, they wonder why Cryogonalman have a Vanillish. The thing is he want to have a Cryogonal but his strength is not as strong as could be. Which marks him for a little kid, and a little kid for making a silly scheme Taylor Made. For now, the Mighty Accelguard's mission continues as Ash's mission continues to earn his 5th badge as the journey continues. And what does Team Rocket want with ancient relics? They want to smash those wedge relics into pieces to make Tornadus and Thundurus reappear!

  • Linda bears a slight resemblance to Honey Kisaragi from the anime series Cutey Honey.
    • She also happens to be a reporter like April O'Neil, Carly Carmine and Kari Tsukumo.
