While heading to Nimbasa City, Ash and co are going to get dinner ready while Meowth gets some wood. As Meowth gathers all the firewood they need, he encounter and meet a Beheeyem which it was willing to help him bring some wood to Ash and co. as Meowth takes it over to them to introduce. Later that night, they come across a luxury hotel out in the woods, but is there more to it than meets the eye?
The gang is about to have dinner. Cilan goes to cook, while Meowth goes to get some wood. Meanwhile, a man spots them and sends a Pokemon, ordering it to do its job. Meowth picks some wood, while he spots a strange Pokemon with a lot of wood, who gives to Meowth, befriending him. The gang sees the Pokemon - it is an Beheeyem. Beheeyem gives them the wood, enough for Cilan to begin cooking.
Cilan, however, has some berries, but they aren't the one he wished for, so wishes them. Beheyeem raises its hand and a sparkle is made, so now Cilan has the berries he wished. Cilan is amazed by that, so begins cooking. The gang begins to eat - Ash and Iris think the food is quite chilly, but Cilan does not have its tongue burning. Meowth tells them Beheeyem can do everything they wanted. They have no wishes, much to the displeasure of the man watching them. However, Cilan knows that the next wish is practically impossible to be made real, but wishes a hotel room with a soft bed. Beheyeem goes away and the gang follows it.
Beheeyem raises its hand and a sparkle is made. Soon, the gang sees a giant hotel! Iris feels stranger, as she knows that the hotel was not here when they were passing by. As they enter the hotel, they see no staff inside, so venture into a room. Everyone is dazzled - it is the same one from Cilan's wish. Everyone gets on the bed and soon they fall asleep. Not much after, a person with a Pokemon go out of a portal and crash inside.
Everyone is awake, so they apologise for not asking the staff, even if they did not see anyone. The person is Officer Jenny and the Pokemon Duosion. They are investigating - someone used a Psychic Pokemon for their own needs. She asks them if anything is missing, so Ash, Iris and Cilan check - Meowth, Pikachu, Axew, even their Pokeballs are gone! They get out and see Beheyeem going away with the Pokemon, so they go after it. However, Beheyeem creates some iron bars, stopping them. A man, who introduces himself as Leon "the Dream Thief", enters and goes away with Beheyeem, along with their Pokeballs.
Jenny tells them that they are in a dream created by Beheyeem. As long as they are in the dream, they are not free. To escape, everyone must be awake and a Psychic attack must be used on the exit mark to leave. Iris spots one, so Duosion uses Psiwave to touch the sign and everyone is seen outside. Unusually, they spot *two* moons. They see Leon and Beheyeem going away, so Jenny goes to battle him. Duosion uses Psishock, then Flash Cannon. However, Beheyeem is unhurt and uses Energy Ball. Duosion protects itself, but the protection is negated and Duosion is defeated.
The gang is left in a difficult position. However, Ash, Cilan and Iris yell to the Pokemon to wake up. Pikachu and Axew wake up, but Meowth is still sleeping. Pikachu attacks him with Thunderbolt to wake him up and they are untied. Iris spots an exit sign, so Duosion uses Psywave to wake everyone up. Next, they are seen to be in the same location, but there are more moons and Leon (with Beheyeem) is seen going out of an UFO. Ash thinks he is an alien, but Iris tells him it is a nonsense. They spiot Meowth sleeping, so Pikachu uses Thunderbolt to wake him up. Iris spots the next exit mark and Duosion uses Psiwave to get them out.
They find themselves (again) in the same location, this time with more moons. Beheyeem rises up as a gaint, so the gang runs away. They see Meowth sleeping on a moon, so Pikachu attacks him with Thunder and Axew with Dragon Rage to wake him up. Meowth wakes up and Duosion uses Psywave to get them out. They are in the same location, this time there is one moon only, so they all must be awake. Leon attempts to go away, but everyone notices him. Beheyeem attempts to use Energy Ball, so Pikachu uses Electro Ball on Beheyeem. Beheyeem is defeated, so Leon calls it back and runs away.
Meowth intercepts him. Leon offers him to work with him, but Meowth replies by using Fury Swipe, leaving him in underpants, as he did not have his beauty sleep. Jenny arrests him and everyone gets their Pokeballs back. Jenny waves goodbye, as she goes to the police station. Meanwhile, two men whowork in Nimbasa Underground, check the train map. One of them, named Ingo, tells the other, named Emmet, that he sees another train going, which is unusual, as there shouldn't be a train there. What is worse, the dot on the map disappears, leaving Emmet and Ingo confused, so they need to go discover what is the source of this event...
