BW045: Meowth's Scrafty Tactics!

Episode Plot

With the Don Battle tournament behind them Ash and co. head out to Nimbasa City (again). They soon encounter Meowth, with no sign of Jessie or James. He reveals that he was fired from Team Rocket and was all alone. They soon come across a seemingly abandoned cottage where a rogue Scrafty lives and has taken Iris' Axew hostage. How can our heroes get Axew back? And what does this Scrafty want with Axew anyway?

• Meowth was never captured, and even Iris was unable to catch it.
• For the first time in 14 seasons, Meowth was kicked out of Team Rocket. But four episodes later, it turned out that Meowth was lying the whole time.
