There Ash learns more about Pokémon Connoisseurs and waits in line to get his compatibility tested. He is then pulled into a shop by a girl named Burgundy who thinks herself as an S-Class Pokémon Connoisseusse. However, as Burgundy check all of Ash's Pokémon, she says that all of his Pokémon are horrible just because they attacked her because they think Ash is a great Trainer even though she doesn't think so. Iris and Cilan find Ash and Burgundy, who apparently has an axe to grind to get her revenge with Cilan for beating her at the Striaton Gym assuming that his words are very hurtful. Not only that, Burgundy also lied when she's "actually" not an S-Class because she's a C-Class Connoisseusse. Who will win the rematch?

Ash is waiting in the line, while a person speaks to him behind a curtain. She addresses herself as Burgundy. She first examines Ash's Pokémon - Tepig, Oshawott, Snivy, Scraggy, even Pickachu. As she makes her suggestion, each Pokémon becomes angry and attcks her. Burgundy becomes furious and advises Ash to change all his Pokémon, to which he, naturally, denies.

Cilan enters the room and Burgundy becomes even more furious, as she thinks Cilan is much more superior. She tells her tale that she battled with Cilan once and she lost. Then she got the license to become a Pokémon Connoisseusser, but (according to her) Cilan is better in that expertise. She wanted to challenge Cilan to a fight, but Cilan's brothers said that he was gone. Bugurundy then shows her badge she got from the Gym fight in Striaton City. Bugrundy then challenges Cilan to a fight.

Episode Plot

After meeting Burgh and catching a Sewaddle, Ash and co. take a stop at a Poké Mart to stock up on supplies.
