Template:PokémonCharacterBoxAsh's Scraggy is one of Ash's PokTemplate:Emon that he recieved in Unova. It has been shown in a preview that it has a bad attitude. After receiving an egg from the Day Care in Route 3, the egg eventually hatched into Scraggy. However, Scraggy is a bit of a violent Pokémon, attacking Ash, Iris & Cilan's other Pokémon at will. Scraggy is a very angry Pokémon, but unfortunately its attacks, such as Headbutt, are not strong. However, despite this, it is continually trying to improve its Headbutt attack.

- Scraggy is Ash's very first Dark-type Pokémon.
- Scraggy is Ash's fourth Pokemon that's Fighting and third Fighting dual Pokemon.
- Scraggy is also Ash's second Fighting pokemon that wouldn't obey Ash right away.
- It seems that headbutting is a gesture of greeting for it.
- Ash's Scraggy seems to have a bit of friendly rivalry with Iris's Axew.
