Ash's Krokorok was a Pokémon that recurred for several episodes in the anime. It used to be a Sandile in BW003 and BW012 until it evolved into Krokorok in BW020 while battling Ash's Pikachu until it blasted off into the sky after getting defeated in both BW012 and BW020. It was set to reappear in BW023, however it was postponded. Krokorok reappeared in BW066 and was captured by Ash in BW067, officially making him part of the team and the ninth Pokémon Ash caught in Unova.

• Ash's Krokorok is the first Pokémon to evolve in Black and White saga.
• He was set to appear in BW023 but the episode along with BW024 was postponed until further notice.
• Prior to capture, Krokorok seemed to have inherited the blast off gag from Team Rocket.
• Krokorok , like other recurring Pokémon, has an item it carries around, its sunglasses.
• It is Ash's second Dark Pokemon.

• It is Ash's sixth Ground Pokemon
  • First was Phanpy which evolved into Donphan, then the second was Gligar which evolved into Gliscor, Thrid was Gible, Torterra as Ash's fourth after evolving from Grotle, and Palpitoad as his fifth.
• It is the second Evolved pokemon Ash caught in Unova. The first being Palpitoad
• Krokorok is the third Pokémon that Ash caught who had an accessory, the first being Squirtle (they both have Sunglasses) and the second being Sceptile.
• When the sunglasses that Krokorok wears are knocked off, it seems to always have a nervous breakdown, suggesting it may be a comfort object, which is supported in BW067.
• Krokorok is the second pokemon owned by a main character to always wear something, the first being Dawn's Buneary who wore a sleeveless jacket unless when battling so it doesn't get dirty.
• Krokorok is the fourth recurring Pokemon to be caught by Ash Ketchum.
