Ash's Gliscor was caught as a Gligar that was afraid of heights. In DP085 Gary suggested to evolve Gligar with a Razor Fang into Gliscor so it can overcome these fears. Ash's Gligar eventually evolved into Gliscor and saved Ash at a canyon.

Gliscor wanted to be in the action too, but Ash said no and learned Fire Fang in the same episode. Ash used Gliscor in the Canalave Gym, where it wins against Byron's Bastiodon and it won, and the Snowpoint Gym, where it lost to Candice's Snover. Ash also uses Gliscor to battle Paul's Torterra. It nearly defeated Paul's starter Pokémon, but lost to its Frenzy Plant in DP132.

In DP154, Ash uses Gliscor to battle the air master's Scizor and learns Giga Impact and trains with the air master. Gliscor was seen again, but was replaced by Gible. Ash summoned Gliscor from McCann in DP185. In DP186, Gliscor had perfected Giga Impact in a battle with Mamoswine and in DP187, while training with McCann, it learned Stone Edge. In DP188, Gliscor burned Drapion using Fire Fang and won the match but against Electivire, Gliscor was beaten all too soon.

It is currently at Professor Oak's Laboratory as of Episode 28, Season 13 (Working on a Right Move).

Personality

Ash's Gliscor has learned to overcome most of its fears, especially its fear of facing other Pokémon. Despite its evolution, it still kept most of its personality. It still cries when scolded by Ash or if it is humiliated by a certain loss.
