Ash first found Corphish in ''Gone Corphishin''' where it attacked them at the beach. Its identity was confirmed and was later battled and caught by Ash while he used [[Ash's Sceptile|Treecko]]. Later in ''AG024'', Corphish tried to make friends with Ash and the others, but ended up beating them up. He then got sick and was carried to [[Dewford Town]] by Ash in order to heal it at the Pokemon center. It recovered and defeated Team Rocket. Corphish had its very first Gym battle in ''[[AG031: Just One of the Geysers|Just One of the Geysers!]] ''against Brawly where it fought and defeated his Machop, but was eventually defeated by [[Hariyama]].

Corphish was used in several battles in the Ever Grande Conference. It first teamed up with Torkoal to battle Dominick in ''From Brags to Riches!''. Since Torkoal was knocked out, Corphish used BubbleBeam in Swalot's mouth, defeating it in the process. It fought Katie's Golduck in ''A Judgmental Brawl!''''. ''Despite being confused, Corphish defeated Golduck and was sent back due to confusion. It later battled her Walrein and lost. In the battle with Ash's rival Morrison, Corphish manages to defeat his Girafarig, Growlithe, and was knocked out with his Swampert. In ''At the End of the Fray!'', Corphish fought Tyson's Hariyama and lost.

In ''Tactics Threatics!'', Corphish teams up with Swellow to battle [[Dome Ace Tucker]]'s Swampert and Arcanine. They fought well, but were also blown away by Tucker's combination of attacks and defense. Corphish colided his Crabhammer wth Swampert's DynamicPunch, but were hurled away from the Mud Fish's power. It eventually defeats Arcanine while Swellow knocks out Swampert, winning Ash the Tactics Symbol.

Ash's Corphish is a Water-type Pokémon owned by Ash. It is the third Pokémon that Ash caught in Hoenn. It's Japanese voice actor is Katsuyuki Konish, and in English it is voiced by Maddie Blaustein (4Kids) and Bill Rogers (TPCi).

Biography

Ash first saw Corphish in the episode, "Which Wurmple is Which?", while fishing. However, Corphish ran away. In the episode, "Gone Corphishin' ", a strange figure was moving underground.
