In Pokémon Platinum, you can purchase it in exchange for shards, and in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver versions, you can purchase it in exchange for Battle Points. It can make Tangela evolve into Tangrowth, and Piloswine into Mamoswine and also Yanma into Yanmega.
