Air Balloon is an in-battle effect item that was first introduced in Generation V. It is a held item that protects its holder from Ground-type attacks, but is broken when the holder is attacked directly.

Location

Black and White: It can be bought for 48 BP at the Battle Subway.
Black 2 and White 2: It can be bought for 48 BP at the Battle Subway.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: It can be bought in the Battle Resort.
