Adaptility (てきおうりょく Adaptable Power) is an ability introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

In battle

It can increase a Pokémon's STAB modifier by 2, as opposed to the initial 1.5 increase rate. The majority of Pokémon that have this ability are Water-type.

Outside of battle

Adaptability has no effect outside of battle.
