Accelgor (Japanese: アギルダー Agirudaa) is a Bug-type Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Black and White. Accelgor is the evolved form of Shelmet.

Biology
Apperance
Accelgor has a large pink head with two green stripes and a hole which closely resembles a star. It's eyes are in some sort of crevice which is also shadowed and black. The body is blue with segments and it has wavy extensions to its arms that are connected to the shoulders. Most of the time the arms are crossed.
Habitat
This Pokémon prefers cool and damp habitats such as bogs and swamps.

Etymology
Accelgor's name originates from the words "accelerate" and possibly "escargot" (pronounced "goh"), Template:WP for "snail".
