RS060: Delcatty Got Your Tongue

Delcatty Got Your Tongue (Japanese: エネコとエネコロロ！伝説のコーディネーター登場！！, Hepburn: Skitty and Delcatty! Enter the Legendary Pokémon Coordinator) is the 20th episode of Pokémon: Advanced Challenge.

Episode Plot

The gang goes to Verdanturf Town. They are redirected by Jessie (disguised) and fall into a hole. James takes Pikachu, but soon finds that he took the gang up. Jessie sends Seviper, Ash Torkoal and James Cacnea. Seviper bites, but fails when Torkoal used Iron Defense. Torkoal uses Flamethrower on Seviper. Cacnea uses Pin Missile on Torkoal, so May sends Skitty to fight. Skitty uses DoubleSlap, but Seviper attacks with its tail, so Skitty's attack is cancelled and she lands on Torkoal - Torkoal used Smog on her and took her down.

Seviper uses Wrap, but Brock sends Mudkip and uses Water Gun on Seviper, blasting Team Rocket off. After the battle, Skitty lost its voice, so they need to take it in a Pokémon Center. Max sees on PokéNav that Foothill Town is not far away, so the gang goes there. When they arrive, they ask an older woman where the Pokémon Center is. The woman says they don't have a Center, but they have a Clinic instead. Brock thinks that the doctor is beautiful by her voice.

A woman goes away (making the gang mistake it was the doctor), so another person asks what the problem is with them. May shows her Skitty to the doctor Abby, so she goes to check the Pokémon. The doctor massages Skitty - Brock explained that sometimes massaging the pressure points can heal some diseases, like fatigue. Skitty is feeling better, when her voice becomes clearer. Ash spots a photo of the doctor Abby and Skitty, winning a contest.

May remembers that Dr. Abby won the Grand Festival - even she was featured in a magazine where she was a grand Coordinator. May sees all ribbons Dr. Abby won before. Abby makes a flashback where Skitty joggled balls, gaining 30 points in the contest and later defeating everyone in the battles. Brock wonders why she left the Contests, so Abby makes another flashback where she traveled and was challenged on a battle. However, Skitty (named as Jonny) lost, so they found a Pokémon Clinic where the doctor massaged Skitty and Skitty felt better the day after. She joined as the doctor's apprentice, learning about the massage and pressure points.

The doctor one night gave Abby a Moonstone - so Skitty evolved into a Delcatty. Abby afterwards made a clinic of her own. May goes to see Jonny, while Team Rocket spy. Meowth thinks that if they catch Delcatty and Skitty, they'd be promoted in an instant. Skitty is playing around, so Abby will throw them balls so Skitty needs to attack them with DoubleSlap using tail. Skitty joggles the balls and gives them to Abby, making an impressive performance. May tries as well. Suddenly, Abby receives new patients.

Team Rocket disguised themselves, pretending Meowth hurt itself. Abby removes the bandages, with Pikachu seeing him, so Meowth begins to be nervous. Abby massages Meowth, saying it must be under a lot of stress. Jessie puts a collar on Skitty, with James doing it on Delcatty. Meowth gives directions where Abby should massage (vocal way), so the gang is amazed how Meowth can speak, so Team Rocket undisguised themselves. Meowth is less stressed, but Jessie pushes him and sends Seviper and it uses Haze, so Team Rocket escapse.

Jonny tackles the balloon and uses Solar Beam, destroying the balloon. Team Rocket falls into a pit, while Skitty and Delcatty are free. The gang arrives to the scene, so James sends Cacnea and Jessie her Seviper. Delcatty attacks, but Seviper uses Bite. Delcatty evades, so Seviper uses Wrap, but fails. Seviper uses Poison Tail, but Delcatty uses Safeguard. Delcatty uses Thunderbolt on Seviper, so Seviper is defeated. Cacnea uses Needle Arm, but Delcatty uses Solar Beam, defeating Cacnea. Nevertheless, Cacnea uses Needle Arm and Seviper Poison Tail, but Skitty tackles Cacnea.

Skitty is hurt by Seviper's Poison Tail. Delcatty uses Blizzard, knocking Cacnea out. May orders Skitty to use Blizzard (per Abby's advice), but does not know how to. So, Abby proposes Skitty to watch Jonny how he does it. Jonny uses Blizzard and Skitty does the same, but with less efficiency, but Abby's pleased either way. Seviper bites, but Jonny uses Thunderbolt, with Skitty using Blizzard (effectively). Skitty and Jonny use Blizzard together, freezing Cacnea and Seviper. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, blasting Team Rocket off.

May promises to use Skitty in her next Contest. The gang goes to the path to Verdanturf Town.
