To everybody'ssurprise, theplanworksandtheluckySpindaappearstosave Meowth. However, whentheytryto capture it the Spinda uses TeeterDancetoknock them off a cliff. The Spinda begins to climb up a nearby mountain, with May, Brock, and Claire right behind it.

James gets the Spinda with the heart on its face, but it uses Dizzy Punch on Team Rocket. Team Rocket get their senses, but are soon asleep due to Hypnosis. The balloon falls down and the Spinda goes away. The gang goes to search after it. Later, Team Rocket do so as well, and Jessie made up a plan. She disguises a Teddiursa as a Spinda and when Spinda go to help it, they will take them one by one. However, Teddiursa goes straight ahead, so Jessie must focus it to go left, then right. However, a Ursaring arrives and uses Hyper Beam, blasting 'em off.
