Pokémon: Advanced

After the ordeal in the last episode, Ash and co. continue training and are joined by Prof. Birch. May is so happy that her Silcoon will soon evolve. Elsewhere Jessie is still in denial of the fact that her "Silcoon" is really a Cascoon. After a fierce battle, Silcoon evolves into Beautifly and blows away Team Rocket with a Gust attack. How will Jessie get her "Silcoon" to evolve and how will she take it if it doesn't evolve into what she wanted?

The gang is eating Brock's breakfast. To impress Prof. Birch, Ash brings all his Pokemon he caught. Birch greets Ash's Corphish and it greets him by pounding him. May brings her Silcoon. Brock also brings his Mudkip and Lotad. Prof birch finds them all beautiful. Jessie is taking care of Silcoon, even if James and Meowth try to convince her that it is a Cascoon. Jessie denies all the proof, so they stop.

Prof. Birch leades them where there are many Pokemon. Max gets ahead, but a Seedot falls on his head. Seedot do not look very happy due to lack of water, so Max gives them some, but they refuse. Since they suck mositure from trees, Ash places them back, but they still fall down. They all see that the trees have fallen down because of lack of water. Max polishes the Seedot using leaf (by Prof. Birch's advice) and he makes it happy.

Team Rocket spot Prof. Birch rolling with Seedot, so they plan to steal them, while Meowth dreams that Giovanni would be supported by Seadot in his morning exercise. Jessie's Seviper uses Haze, making Team Rocket appear before them. Seviper attacks, but Corphish is sent out and uses ViceGrip, stopping Seviper. Jessie sends her Silcoon, but Prof. Birch corrects her, saying it is a Cascoon, but Jessie is not convinced.

May sends her Silcoon - showing that there is a difference. They both use Tackle and when they do, May's Silcoon evolves into a Beautifly. Silcoon (aka Cascoon) uses String Shot, but Corphish gets in the way of attack, cutting the string. Corphish uses Claw Hammer and sends Team rocket to the woods. After the battle, Brock gives May some jelly for Beautifly. Ash wonders what attacks Beatifly can use, to which Max names some and May orders the Beautifly to use Gust. Birch gives her a frizbin and Beautifly spins it around for while.

Seadot are happy, but Birch has to find a new home for them. Meanwhile, Jessie is frustrated her Silcoon does not evolve and blames James and Meowth to be responsible. Birch puts the Seadot, but they fall down. Meowth battles Silcoon (aka Cascoon) and it tackles Meowth, winning the battle. James' Cacnea is then chosen to fight - it uses Pin Missile, but Silcoon uses Harden - then it uses Tackle and defeats it. Jessie is unsatisfied, so she plans to battle the gang's Pokemon.

Prof. Birch has found a spot for Seadot to live, but Team Rocket arrive. This time, Jessie wants to fight for her Silcoon to evolve into a Beautifly. Silcoon uses Tackle, but Beautifly pushes it using Gust. James halps her, so he sends Cacnea. Ash chooses Treecko to fight as well. Cacnea uses Pin Missile, but Treecko evades the attack and uses Pound, but Cacnea evades as well. Mewoth rushes to steal Seadot, but Brock sends Mudkip to protect them, using Water Gun to push Meowth away.

Jessie's Silcoon uses Tackle on Beautifly and it hits, but so does Beautifly as well. Silcoon uses Tackle, but Beautifly uses Gust. Jessie's Cascoon evolves to Dustox, but James covers it with a blanket, with Meowth disguised as a Beautifly. Jessie removes the blanket, and is quite disappointed that it is a Dustox. Jessie analyzes that both May's and her own were caught at same time and both evolved at same time, but still does not get why her is a Beautifly and her is a Dustox.

Meowth says that her Wurmple decided to become a Cascoon, not a Silcoon. James nad Meowth think she's going to outrage, but she "loves her Dustox". Dustox uses Tackle, knocking the Beautifly. May and Jessie argue whose Pokemon is better, so they battle to prove. Beautifly also tackles Dustox. Dustox uses Poison Sting, but the attack is negated by Gust. Dustox uses Psi-Beam and Cacnea Pin Missile, but Treecko sacrficies himself, so Ash returns him.

Ash sends Corphish and James uses Pin Missile, but Corphish dodges it. Dustox uses Poison Sting, but Beautifly evades and uses Tackle. Corphish uses Crabhammer, knocking Cacnea out. Corphish uses Bubble Beam, blastins Team Rocket away. Birch leaves the gang, going to Littleroot Town.
