4Kids Entertainment was the first dubbing company that dubbed Pokémon into English dialogue. They first dubbed at TAJ Productions until Season 5 when 4Kids tooks their own recording studio.  Starting from Season 8 and onwards, Pokemon USA took over for the dubbing and distribution of the anime, replacing different voice actors.

In April, 2011, 4Kids filled for bankruptcy. However, as of 21 December, 2012, 4Kids exited their bankruptcy. 4Kids was reincoorpirated as 4Licenseing Corporation.
